ElSalvapedia is run by Stu Le Tissier and Adriana Cabezas from El Salvador. It offers the combined travel knowledge and perspective of a long-time world traveller from the UK, with that of a curious Salvadoran local.

ElSalvapedia started after Stu hung up his backpacking boots after visiting 76 countries and came to live in El Salvador in 2018. While exploring the country, he realised El Salvador had a huge amount to offer visitors, but it needed specialist local travel knowledge to uncover all of its hidden gems.

ElSalvapedia was created to provide a clear and practical El Salvador travel guide based on real experience.

Today, the site covers destinations, travel planning, culture, and daily life in El Salvador, helping tourists, backpackers, digital nomads and expats understand the country before they arrive.

Stu & Adri continue to travel extensively throughout El Salvador, updating the site regularly to ensure the information remains accurate and useful.

ElSalvapedia is also developing a small local tour service aimed at helping visitors experience El Salvador in a more personal and authentic way.
